Take a seat at our table, in the center of San Sebastián, and prepare yourself for a sensory journey through Spain. In this tasting, our on-staff sommelier fills your glasses with the six most exciting wines, wines you won't find on the menus of the local bars, on the Spanish scene today.
This relaxed yet informative tasting will satisfy the wine fan’s thirst for extensive knowledge of contemporary Spanish winemaking as well as the novice visitor interested in sampling some delicious drinks, all without leaving San Sebastián.

If you are into food and particularly wine you absolutely, positively must experience the Spanish wine tasting at Mimo in the Maria Cristina Hotel. Not only will you taste amazing wines from Spain with an emphasis in the Basque country but you will have the pleasure to meet Tito who is an expert sommelier. He shares his insights to the winemakers, the producers and the history of wine making in Spain. We tasted a full range of Spanish whites from Rioja to reds from all over the north of Spain. And can tell you these were high quality, full throttle wines. Further, if you ask, he can customize a tasting to your particular tastes. This is a must do if you are lucky enough to visit San Sebastian.

From the moment we arrived and saw how wonderful the facilities were and our host Tito greeted us we knew we were in for a brilliant night. His knowledge was incredible and the wines he chose gave us a great understanding of the diversity Spain has in the wine production. Thank you Tito!
