"Food is our thing, having run a restaurant and catering business for over 30 years, and had therefore been recommended to visit San Sebastián, and in particular The San Sebastián Foods (SSF)Cookery School. We now have and were not disappointed! We had firstly booked to take a Pintxos Tour and our guide for this was Lourdes who was born locally and was so knowledgable about the history and culture of the basque region and certainly knew her way around the pintxos bars of the old town! We learnt so much and she was so friendly that we were very sad when the evening ended. We had also booked a couple of cookery courses, one on Basque fish cookery and one on pintxos cookery and these courses were extremely well organised and professional but the amazing staff also made it all great fun. I would say that for anyone visiting San Sebastián they should at the very least visit the SSF shop or attend the school as the wonderful staff here will give you an introduction to all things Basque that certainly made our stay more special. Thank you to everyone at San Sebastián Foods."

"We so enjoyed our cooking class at San Sebastian Food. Everything was excellent... from Chef Cristina's recipes to the translators and the food! It was really authentic and took us out of our cooking comfort zone to try something new! We took the Basque Master Class, and learned a lot about the Basque region, culture, and food from the class! The market tour was also a great for us as we stayed at a rented home for two weeks and cooked at the house. It was great to know where to get the good meat and seafood and the times that the markets were open! I would highly recommend this experience for anyone travelling to San Sebastian and it is an experience I will repeat!"

"We joined a Tuesday night tour with Arantxa and despite the rainy weather had an incredible evening! She shared some history of San Sebastian, food facts and took us to six great locations all with incredible "specialties." All the tastings were interesting and delicious with dessert at the end. We made new friends and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. This is a great way to enjoy the local offerings, as beginners we could never have assembled this assortment for ourselves. San Sebastian Food goes above and beyond with their customer service! When our rental car plans fell through, they assisted to find us a ride to our next stop in Rioja. I highly recommend their tours and services."
